Boracay is a place you will love and hate at the same time.
For the sake that to say “Hey, I’ve been to Boracay!”, I tagged along with Kareen for the weekend. We didn’t stay near Station 3, instead, we stayed at the opposite side of the island. It’s a looong walk away from our accommodation to the beach. Like an estimated 5-10 minutes, depending on your stride. But who’s complaining if you got this view:
Our room comes with a kitchen, en suite, a small table where we were supposed to eat but used it to put our water bottles, an extra bed. The room isn’t shabby and it costs us Php 1,500 per night.
I’m not much of a party person but I love the location of our hotel. It was so serene and we got the best seats on the beach to watch the sunrise.

Ever since I witnessed the beautiful sunset of El Nido, Palawan, catching nature’s wonders is now part of my travel mission. I was in awe of Boracay’s sunrise when I saw it with my sleepy eyes.
It was fiery one. So I had my moment. It helps that I’m the only one sitting on the hotel’s lawn hammock. I snapped a few photos and soaked in the beauty of the sun. Sometimes, there are some moments you don’t need to take a photo of. You just have to savor the beauty and immortalize the picture in your memory.
