Coffee Prince, the new prince in town

Korean coffee shops have been sprouting like mushrooms. I am not a big fan of their coffee due to the overrated sticky note-covered walls, pricey drinks and it is always crowded. One of the Korean coffee houses that I love is Coffee Prince. They have cute love locks in lieu of post-it notes. In addition, Coffee Prince throw in the usual cutesy stuff like giant stuffed toys, double-bunked wooden booths (like Cafe Noriter) and fluffy pillows. The staff wore uniforms consists of white button-down shirts and black vests identical to that of Korean TV series namesake–definitely living up to the theme.

I love their java chip frappe served in huge clear mason jars. My friend, Majoy, gushed that she likes the strawberry smoothie. Their bulgogi panini is also a must-try. It has sweet bulgogi meat with mozarella cheese and a side of potato fries.

Coffee Prince opened August 2014 and they are already a favorite hang out of the coffee addicts, students and professional tambays. We visited on a Sunday, just a few shy weeks from their opening date, so we got a free love lock. Their love locks are sold for Php 100.00 each.

Love locks

Overall experience? I love their drinks. Yes, their price range is similar to that of Starbucks’ but I think Coffee Prince is a bit generous on that department.

Coffee Prince is L-O-V-E

I would definitely pick Coffee Prince over Cafe Noriter or Sunday 2 PM Cafe. And I’m talking based on tastes.
